Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This privacy policy applies to the residential community finance management application ("the App") developed by Suthum Dev. We are committed to protecting the personal data of all users — administrators and residents alike.

2. Data we collect

The App collects and stores the following information:

User role information (admin or resident)

Financial transaction records: descriptions, amounts, dates, months, and notes

Transaction types (income or expense)

Sync status of each transaction

Authentication credentials used to access the App

We do not collect names, national ID numbers, phone numbers, location data, or any sensitive personal information beyond what is listed above.

3. How we use your data

To display transaction history to authorized users

To synchronize financial records with Google Sheets for community reporting

To enforce role-based access control (admin vs. resident)

To maintain an audit trail of deletions (marked as DELETED in Sheets)

4. Data storage

Financial records are stored locally on your device using an embedded SQLite database. Transaction data is also synchronized to Google Sheets, which is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We do not operate independent cloud servers.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for commercial purposes. Data is shared only with Google Sheets as a backend storage layer, accessible solely to authorized users of the community account.

6. Data deletion

Admin users may delete transaction records within the App. Deleted records are marked as DELETED in Google Sheets rather than permanently erased, to preserve the audit trail. Local database records are removed upon deletion. If you wish to have all your data erased, please contact the developer using the address below.

7. Security

Access to the App is controlled through an authentication service. Role-based permissions ensure that only admin users can delete or modify records. We recommend that all users keep their credentials confidential and notify the administrator if they suspect unauthorized access.

8. Children's privacy

This App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
